Welcome to the new era of An Empowered You—now with videos! This launch is not just about relaunching a podcast but celebrating the power of resilience, growth, and unapologetic authenticity. As a Palestinian woman, I’ve been through the highs and lows, navigating identity, purpose, and healing. But today, I stand ready to share, connect, and inspire.

In this inaugural episode of the revamped podcast, I sat with the incredible Soleil, a healer, mentor, and disruptor of norms. We talked about divine energy, finding joy in the chaos, and how life’s challenges shape us into the people we’re meant to be. My 19-year-old daughter, Jazlyn, also joined us, sharing her perspective on growth, relationships, and empowerment.

Here are the highlights and key takeaways:

The Power of Reclamation: Divine Womanhood

Soleil emphasized the beauty of stepping into divine womanhood, a term she uses to describe the reclamation of what it truly means to be a woman. “We’re busting out of the box,” she said, challenging societal norms that limit individuality. Her journey began with leaving behind the conventional path, selling everything, and dedicating years to self-discovery.

Key Quote:
“Life is always changing. If you resist change, you’re resisting life itself.”

Healing Generational Trauma

As women, we carry not only our own burdens but those passed down from generations before us. Soleil shared how her mother inspired her mission to awaken humanity and how this work often involves clearing the “density” of generational trauma.

Key Quote:
“We’re not just doing this work for ourselves. It’s for our ancestors, our lineage, and future generations.”

The Journey of Self-Discovery

I opened up about my own healing journey, including my decision to start antidepressants and mood stabilizers—a step I had long resisted. Pairing this with working with Soleil helped me reclaim my joy, purpose, and self-awareness.

Key Quote:
“Whatever you fear, jump at it. Fear has led me to some of the biggest lessons of my life.”

Dating, Relationships, and Anxious Attachment

We dove into the complexities of dating, exploring attachment styles and the importance of emotional accountability. Jazlyn brought her perspective as a young woman navigating relationships in today’s world, while Soleil reminded us to “de-center men” and prioritize our own happiness.

Key Takeaways:

  • Fear and anxiety are energetic states you can channel into creativity and self-growth.
  • Self-awareness is the foundation of all understanding.

Investing in Yourself

Soleil beautifully explained why investing in yourself is never selfish but essential. Whether it’s time, money, or energy, prioritizing personal growth benefits not just you but everyone around you.

Key Quote:
“You’re the magic sauce to all the happiness you’re waiting for.”

For the Love of Fun and Freedom

Healing doesn’t always have to be serious. It’s also about joy, laughter, and unapologetically living life on your terms. We talked about embracing spontaneity, turning up, and rejecting outdated expectations placed on women.

Key Quote:
“If I want to turn up, I’m going to turn up. If I want to have fun, I’m going to have fun. Why would you not?”

Empowering the Next Generation

Jazlyn’s experience working with Soleil highlights the importance of offering young women the tools to build confidence and navigate relationships with self-awareness. Her advice to her peers is simple but powerful:

“Keep going. Take it one step at a time. Everything’s going to be okay.”

Randa Quraan:
Welcome back, everyone! It’s been a while. I’ve taken time to marinate, be seasoned, and reconnect with what makes me happiest as a Palestinian woman. There have been so many ups and downs, not just this past year, but over decades. I needed to find myself and my place in this space.

And here we are. I’m ready. We’ve got videos, a studio—it’s straight goddess energy. After every episode, I want you to feel like you can conquer any area of your world. Are you ready? Let’s go.

I’m so excited to introduce someone beautiful, a true light in my life: Sole. I used to call her “Soul” until she corrected me—it’s Sole! Tell us, who are you?

Sole:
I’m a seeker. My journey started with understanding myself and awakening to my purpose. I was blessed with a mother who truly got it—she laid the framework for who I am today. Her mission was to facilitate the awakening of humanity, and she passed that on to me.

I’ve always asked the big questions: Why are we here? Why do so many people seem unhappy? I started my journey conventionally, going to college and becoming a counselor. But over time, I realized the answers I sought couldn’t be found in the norm. So, I sold everything, lived out of a suitcase, disconnected from social media, and went inward for several years.

Through that journey, I learned about alignment and purpose. Society often tries to put us into neat little boxes, but I believe we’re here to disrupt that. True divine womanhood means reclaiming what it means to be a woman in today’s world.

Randa:
I love that. You’ve helped me so much on my journey—especially when it comes to embracing change. Change used to terrify me. But now, as a healed woman, I understand it’s part of life. I’ve learned to breathe through the discomfort, step into happiness, and embrace who I am.

This past year was traumatic in many ways, especially with what’s happening in Palestine. I felt obligated to consume every graphic image, every piece of news, to honor my parents who are no longer here. But it broke me. I spiraled into depression and eventually sought help. I’m now on antidepressants and mood stabilizers, and it’s been life-changing.

Sole, your guidance—your ability to see in me what I couldn’t—helped me piece myself back together. You’ve worked with so many people from different walks of life. How do you decide who to work with?

Sole:
For me, it’s about alignment. I trust my intuition to know if we’re a fit. I’m not for everyone, and that’s okay. My goal is to meet people where they are and offer a safe space to heal and grow.

I’ve worked with all kinds of people—different ages, backgrounds, and experiences. It’s fascinating to see how much inner work connects us all. It’s not limited by demographics; it’s about being willing to step into that space and do the work.

Randa:
That’s so true. Healing isn’t just for us—it’s for generations before and after us. The work is heavy but so necessary.

This year, I’ve focused on embracing fun, too. Whether it’s turning up, traveling, or just saying “yes” to joy, I’m prioritizing what feels good. And let’s be real—stepping into your forties comes with its own magic. My body and spirit feel more alive than ever.

Sole:
Yes! Fun is part of the healing process. It’s about shedding the heaviness and living fully. I call it “pussy power”—big, unapologetic feminine energy. As women, we’re reclaiming that in every way, from our sensuality to our independence.

Randa:
Speaking of independence, Jazlyn, my 19-year-old daughter, is here with us. She’s worked with Sole, and I’d love for her to share her experience. Jazlyn, introduce yourself!

Jazlyn:
Hi, I’m Jazlyn, Randa’s daughter. At first, I was nervous to work with Sole, but it ended up being such a great experience. She made it easy to open up, and I learned a lot about myself. I feel more confident and grounded after just two sessions.

Sole:
It’s always about meeting someone where they are. With younger clients, I focus on building trust and creating a safe space. Confidence and self-awareness are some of the greatest gifts we can give to young people.

Randa:
That’s so important. Confidence changes everything. And for me, healing has also been about stepping into my divine feminine while balancing my masculine energy in business. I’ve learned to trust, receive, and align with abundance instead of constantly hustling.

Sole:
Yes! Feminine energy is magnetic. When you align with it, everything flows. It’s about releasing resistance, clearing fear, and trusting that you’re supported.

Randa:
Absolutely. This podcast, this journey, is all about empowerment—choosing yourself, investing in yourself, and living unapologetically. To everyone listening: no one is coming to save you. You are the magic. You are the answer.

Closing Thoughts: The Work Starts With You

To all the listeners, remember this: no one is coming to save you. The answers you seek are within you. Invest in yourself unapologetically—mind, body, and soul. Surround yourself with love, celebrate your wins, and rest when you need to. The journey is messy but beautiful.

Final Quote:
“You are the answer. You’re literally the magic sauce to all the happiness you’re waiting for.”
